From tax returns that foundations file with the IRS (Form 990-PF and Form 990, Schedule I). They list every grant: who received it, how much, and for what. The records are public. More about the data.
How do you decide which foundations fit me?
We look for nonprofits like yours – same cause, same area, similar size – and check which foundations funded them in the last three years. How current is it?
